SNAA Titan Greatsword Tristan

The Titan Greatsword Tristan, henceforth simply called Tristan, is a nice kit. The basic kit has a very nice knightly aesthetic that I really took to. The plastic quality is also very nice, especially at the price I got it at for, about $30. The kit's possibility is also very good. I really like how they did the knees on the kit. It bends in such a natural curve that other kits simply do not have. There's a small piston on the upper part of the knee that connects to the top of the thigh in such a way that when the leg is fully extended, the piston appears to be a part of the armor. My only issue with the plastic and posability of the kit is the peg connecting the torso together. It was a bit to lose and easy to disconnect. I sort of fixed this with a small layer of paint on the peg to thicken the joint and create more friction. Other than that, I don't have any problems with the kit. I recommend it, if you can find it, that is. As I write this, the kit has been sold out for a while now. I do not know when it will return to stores, if it ever will, however, if one can find it, my recommendation is still clear.

This is also my first kit that I decided to paint. I decided not to fully paint the kit, that would take far too long, but I would like to think I have done some good work on it. I had some left-over warhammer dark angles paint that I used on the torso, shoulder, and hip. not much, just enough to look like more decorative flare. I also added some blue paint underneath the transparent pieces so it looked like it was a crying face. With some minor panel lining as a finishing touch. I didn’t put any of the kit’s included decals, but I believe it looks good regardless.

Conclusion

Good kit over all and a very nice entry point into customizations.

Collection

I have gotten may kits over the years, and here is most of them. There are a few more since I took these old photos. Its much cleaner now, but clearly, I have alot of them.

In order of left to right, front to back, the first photo shows the following: MG Wing Zero (EW), Zero Gravity Moonlight Judge, MG HI-NU Ver.Ka, MG Zeta Gundam Ver.Ka, MG Eclipse, HG Burning Gundam, RG Exia, warhammer space marine, RG Crossbone, SD V2 Benjamin Gundam, RG Wing Zero, MG F91 Gundam, MG Guntank, MG Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, IN ERA+ Trailblazer, Full Mechanics Gundam Aerial, and lastly for this slide, MG Sazabi Ver.Ka. The other Image is of the: PG Strike Freedom, Infinity Nova Sky Defender, and lastly, ZZA Blue Flame.

I have a lot, to put it mildly. And these photos are outdated. I intend to slowly go through my collection, take some photos and give my thoughts on each of them. Additionally, as I get more into customizing these kits, I'll place my thoughts on both the kit and my customizations in their own posts.
